The Georgian speech of Imerkhevi.

This section will introduce local speech through accessible explanations, a reviewed dictionary and, later, recordings from fieldwork. Dictionary entries will preserve their village or locality labels and source references.

The homepage word ხევი (khevi, “valley, gorge”) is an introductory Georgian example, also found in Standard Georgian. The searchable dialect dictionary is still in preparation.
