Imerkhevi is a cultural documentation project by Ömer Faruk Bülbül, a linguistics master’s student at the University of Cologne with family roots in the region. The website complements his research on Imerkhevian Georgian while opening a wider space for language, history, songs and local memory.

Published sources form the starting collection. Original fieldwork, photographs, audio and video will be added as they are prepared for sharing. Contributions and corrections will help this archive grow.
